Meet Casey Carver
Casey Carver is a contractor–it’s in his blood. Casey’s path to becoming the top notch contractor he is today started in 2003 when Casey graduated with a Construction Management degree from Georgia Southern University Statesboro. The Minor in Business he obtained gave him the foundation he would later need to start Carver Contracting Company–though he didn’t know it at the time. After college, Casey went to work for Turner Construction, a large construction company out of Atlanta, GA. During his years at Turner Construction, Casey build his skill set and learned what it takes to be successful in construction. These six years would prove to be a big part of building Casey’s keen eye for quality construction. A solid work ethic and a personal care for other people have been a part of Casey’s mindset his entire life. In short, Casey is not just a man who will do an excellent job planning and building your project, he cares more about his clients happiness than anything else. After six years with Turner Construction, an opportunity arose for Casey to head to Columbus, GA to work for a general contractor. Excited by the opportunity for his family to be closer to home (Casey’s wife Sara is originally from Columbus), Casey went to work for Humphreys Associates in Columbus. Casey spent 5 plus years as a Project Manager and Estimator, and made valuable connections with developers, architects, home and business owners and built relationships that he continues to foster today. After five years as a Project Manager, the Contractor Casey was working for decided to retire, which spurned the thought, “I can do this on my own.” With a wife and two young boys, it wasn’t easy to make the decision of jumping into Carver Contracting full-time. “The scary part was not knowing the now, that it was definitely the right move for us,” Casey said. So, Casey kept plugging away as a Project Manager and Estimator, fostering those same relationships in the contracting world while building new ones. Over the next four years, Casey began building up Carver Contracting slowly, bit-by-bit, accepting jobs here and there. Now, in 2018, Casey is focused on Carver Contracting 100%, giving his full-time and energy into making his own contracting business the sole source of income. With some incredible jobs under the Carver Contracting name, Casey is showing Columbus and the surrounding communities that he is not just someone to call to get a remodel done. Casey is a family man, he’s a friend and he will take your idea and make it beautiful with you. Carver Contracting isn’t offering a “big box” solution to your contracting needs, he’s offering a friendship and a guaranteed job well done.
